Virtual Mental Health For Young Adult – Ages 18-23

Program Overview

At AIGAS, our AIGAS Virtual initiatives address Mental Health and Substance Use, catering to individuals aged 18 and above. These programs provide comprehensive support for those grappling with concurrent mental health symptoms and substance use challenges. Grounded in evidence-based practices, our curriculum integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to empower individuals in achieving their distinct treatment goals. AIGAS employs diverse treatment approaches, including harm reduction, abstinence, and medication-assisted treatments (Suboxone, Vivitrol, Naltrexone), tailored to individual needs and concurrent mental health symptoms. Our primary objective is to foster an understanding of the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use.

Participants engage in regular meetings with a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, weekly sessions with master’s level clinicians or Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors (CADC), and strongly encouraged family therapy sessions. Urine drug screen monitoring, based on treatment team recommendations, is a crucial aspect of our program. AIGAS’s Virtual MHSU Program is available during both daytime and evening hours, ensuring flexibility for diverse schedules.
