AIGAS’s specialized Mental Health, Pain, and Illness Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs for adults aged 18 and above. These programs are designed to address the distinct mental health challenges associated with various medical diagnoses and physical symptoms. The experienced AIGAS team supports participants in acquiring skills, overcoming obstacles, and adopting new thought patterns, all with the overarching goal of better understanding and harnessing the mind-body connection. Emphasizing acceptance of symptoms, increased movement, mindfulness cultivation, and challenging distorted perceptions, the Mental Health, Pain, and Illness IOP Programs utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Relaxation Theropy-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
